Our Team

Jeffrey Bradley

Managing Partner

Most recent grads with academic backgrounds in mathematics, business and finance would welcome the opportunity be on a team managing a multi-billion portfolio. After almost five years on the institutional side, Jeff Bradley needed more. "I realized I was an entrepreneur caught in a corporate body," he explained referring to his experience as an institutional investment analyst. "I knew true long-term satisfaction would lie where my giftings and the world's needs cross."

Jeff gave up his corner office in a downtown Dallas high-rise to join a financial services firm as an advisor in 2005. His passion for people and entrepreneurial spirit prevailed. Jeff built a financial planning & investment advisory practice, when after six years in the role, formally realized his calling into sales leadership. After stents in both training & development and sales management; Jeff capitalized on an opportunity to join the Frisco location of New York Life's Dallas General Office as a direct-hire Partner mid-2016.

He was impressed with the Leadership Team's big thinking, calculated risk-taking and work ethic. However, their warmth and passion for changing the perception of the industry one person at a time sealed the deal. His wife Jenny, now a top Director of Recruiting, following a brunch meeting with Mike Scovel, Will Pearce, and the Partners' spouses said to Jeff, "This feels right ... I'm coming & I hope you'll join me!"

They both plugged into the Frisco Office where he excelled as a Partner & she thrived alongside in talent acquisition. Hiring to leadership & coaching the principles of thinking bigger against perceived limitations complemented the uber competitive culture. "My leadership style is to challenge restricted thinking by living life in the solve versus the problem." In March of 2020 after a successful run in one of New York Life's flagship GOs; Jeff was promoted to Managing Partner of the El Paso General Office coinciding with the onset of the pandemic.

Leaving the Metroplex after 21 years, uprooting his young family, settling into a new city, while leading an Office during the pandemic certainly was a challenge without a manual. Driven by his desire to impact culture, Jeff remained confident that he was in the right role. "I want to build something so powerful that it will generationally impact New York Life's presence in El Paso."

While well underway towards that vision with an outstanding Leadership Team; an opportunity to return home to the geography of his child & young adulthood presented itself. He's excited to re-join the fierce independent spirit present in the South Plains & Panhandle while stewarding the West Texas General Office. Not-so-small irony - Jeff and Jenny this September will reside with their three super resilient daughters in the very city where they met as Freshman at Texas Tech University 30 years prior!
